Booklet dedicated to the typeface, Bauer Bodoni
This is a booklet for the typeface Bauer Bodoni. It goes into the history of this font, and the font Bodoni, Bauer’s derivative.
The goal of the booklet was to be able to go into depth about the beauty of Bodoni and show the different ways that it is used including in popular media!

Process
I started this project out with sketches and then transferred them digitally.
The first digitized iteration ended up being much more different from what I had for the second or third iteration.
I realized Bodoni was a little too difficult to see on a black due to how thin it is, something that I later emphasize in the book with a white background!
I also fixed many of grid issues thoughout the project, I was struggling alot with finding a fitting grid but eventually got a good hang of grid use through critique which I still always keep in mind to this day!
