Booklet dedicated to Saul Perlmutter, Brian P. Schmidt, and Adam G. Riess, 2011 Noble Prize in Physics winners.

Noble Prize Winner Retrospective

These three men embarked on the journey of investigating supernovas. Through observing supernovas they found out that the universe was expanding, at a more rapid rate than anyone thought!

This booklet was designed with the thought of supernovas in mind. I based my design on supernovas as they were the reason the discovery of the universe expansion accelerating came to light!

Process

With this project, I worked more in depth with creating my own images and using sources such a photo taking and using a photocopier!

My goal when starting this project was to entirely only use and create my own images aside from the headshots of the Noble Prize Winners.

With this, I learned to make insteresting and unique galaxy patterns and shapes through experimenting with a big compination of photoshop filters such as, Gradient Map, Dissolve layers, Radial Blur, and Graphic Pen. No image would look the same and each one of them had it’s own unique features!
