Akron Zoo Promotion Poster
This project is a poster created for the Akron Zoo. We were tasked to choose an animal with an exhibit in the zoo and create a promotional poster based on that animal.
For my animal, I chose to illustrate moon jellyfish! Jellyfish are my favorite animals and are very unique to draw due to their fluid tentacles and their bodies being semi-transparent.
Process
With this illustration, I worked with many layers and different brushes to achieve the look I was visualizing. I used a coronation of soft human hair brushes, eyelash brushed, soft brushes, and water texture and light brushes.
Additionally, going back to layers, I used many different layer setting such as add and overlay to achieve a bright and glow look that moon jellyfish have in their bodies.
